2008 Yarra Yering Dry Red Wine No. 3

This wine is a blend of the Portuguese grape varieties Touriga, Tinta Cao, Tinta Amarello, Roriz and Souzao.

Excellent opaque black dark purple colour with deep black purple hue. The nose delivers a perfumed aromatic profile of violets, dark cherry, plum and spice followed by a hint of earth. Full bodied with rich, concentrated palate flavours of black cherry, dark plum, blackberry, liquorice and spice – quite mouthfilling. Round opulent texture with velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of dark cherry, blackberry and spice.
