This wine is produced from the original 1969 plantings and sees 100% malolactic fermentation with maturation taking place in French oak of which 40% is new.
Bright straw colour with pale gold edges and water like hue. The nose displays aromas of biscuit and toast along with some subtle white peach, honeycombe and cashew notes – a complex sniff. The palate is both mouthfilling and concentrated with flavours of white peach, spice, cashew and nougat. Clean dry finish with long aftertaste of white peach, spice and hazelnut.
