2008 Yangarra Estate Vineyard Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose reveals lifted dark plummy characters, which are very ripe and almost raisin like, followed by chocolate bullets, vanilla and confectionary. The palate is full bodied and very rich with mouthfilling flavours of dark plum, dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some vanilla and confectionary. Voluptuous, round, supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of dark chocolate, plum, liquorice allsorts and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
