2008 Woodlands Emily Special Reserve Cabernets

Opaque black crimson red colour with crimson purple hue. The nose displays blackcurrant, cedar and mulberry aromas followed by a hint of tobacco and some spice end notes. Medium bodied, elegant and somewhat tightly knit at present the palate possesses flavours of blackcurrant and dark mulberry with some underlying cedar and spicy tobacco like characters. Dryish, slightly firmish tannins with aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice.
