2008 Wills Domain Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Bright pale straw colour with green tinge and water like hue. Top note of confectionary, followed by ripe gooseberry with hints of spice and tropical fruit. Graves like in structure. Dry, grassy, herbaceous palate over a dusty green gooseberry layer. Clean acid finish. Green, herbaceous aftertaste in balance with fruit.

Other Reviews… A restrained and elegant bouquet, with grapefruit and gooseberry framed by a touch of dried straw; the palate is lithe and lively, with racy acidity drawing out the long and even finish. Screwcap.
