2008 Warramate Black Label Shiraz

Produced from vines planted in 2000. Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays good aromatics with lifted top notes of ripe blackberry, plum and black cherry followed by some toasty notes and spice. Medium weight but exhibiting plenty of richness the wine possesses a soft round velvety texture. Flavours of ripe blackberry, plum and spicy oak followed by some meaty end notes. Very fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, plum and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
