2008 Urban Uco Torrontes

This unique Argentinean white is made from the Torronte grape variety which has a strong resemblance to Viognier. Made from grapes grown in the Cafavatu vineyard.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Top note of tropical fruit, followed by spice, mango and paw paw delivering an exotic perfumed lift. Mouthfilling palate displaying exotic flavours reminiscent of ripe Viognier. Flavours of dried apricot, exotic tropical fruit, mango and lychee. The palate structure is a touch broad, however, the general impression is a clean and spicy finish. Long exotic aftertaste of mango, and tropical fruit. Cellar 1-2 years (2010-2011) Alc/Vol: 13.5%
