2008 Turners Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque dark red black colour with dark red hue. Matured for 18 months in French oak. The nose opens with ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate top notes with an overlay of vanillin oak and some subtle spice end notes. The palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrant, vanillin cedar, earth and spice that tend to fade relatively quickly. Firm dryish tannins give the wine a dry chewy mouthfeel. Modest aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar, earth and spice.

Cellar 3-4 years.
