Spectacular super saturated black colour with black heart and very deep black dark red hue – wow what an outstanding start. Opulent aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum are followed by some dark chocolate, confectionary and spice showing excellent intensity. Expansive, plush, concentrated and voluptuously textured the palate is loaded with ripe blackberry, dark plum and dark chocolate followed by some liquorice and spice. As we’ve come to expect from the Torbreck reds the tannins are velvet smooth. Excellent depth with very long aftertaste of dark chocolate, liquorice, ripe blackberry and spice.
