2008 Tarras Vineyards Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. A delightful perfumed sniff revealing aromas of black cherry, dark plum and anise followed by some violet and toast end notes. The palate displays good weight and is fruit driven in style with flavours of dark plums, black cherry and spice with some toasty characters emerging on the back palate. Good length. Very fine grained velvet like tannin structure. Aftertaste of black cherry, anise and spice.
