The Vieilles Vignes Chataeuneuf du Pape shows a stronger colour profile in comparison to the Cuvee Speciale. Opaque dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of dark raspberry, blackberry, liquorice and spice followed by a light earthy end note. Full bodied the palate possesses good concentration and richness with mouthfilling flavours of dark raspberry, liquorice, blackberry and spicy earth supported by dry firmish tannins that will require some time to fully integrate. Long blackberry, liquorice and spicy earth aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
