2008 Steve Hoff Heritage Wines Cabernet Sauvignon

Maturation took place in American oak for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Aromas of dark chocolate and some vanillin oak are followed by mocha like characters and a hint of raisin spice. Full bodied the palate displays a very ripe flavour profile of black plum, dark chocolate, raisins, vanilla and spice. Soft velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of black plum, dark chocolate, raisins and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2012-2014).
