2008 Shaw & Smith Shiraz

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose with lifted aromas of violets, blackberry, spice, liquorice allsorts and confectionary. Medium to full bodied the palate displays impressive concentration with flavours of liquorice allsorts, confectionary, blackberry, spice and blackpepper. Excellent depth with very fine grained and well integrated tannin structure. Long liquorice allsorts, confectionary, spice and blackpepper aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
