2008 Serafino Reserve Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with very pale straw hue. The nose displays good lift and intensity with aromas of white peach and toasted oak followed by light butterscotch, yeast lees and nougat. Big rich, creamy textured palate with mouthfilling flavours of white peach, nougat, toast, cashew and butterscotch along with a hint of spice. The acidity is a touch soft giving the wine a broad mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of peach, toast and nougat.
Drink now or cellar 1-2 years (2010-2012).
