2008 Sarsfield Estate Pinot Noir

Maturation took place in French oak for 18 months. Semi translucent crimson red mauve colour with mauve hue. Aromas of lifted black cherry and dark plum are followed by some spice and cedar notes. The palate displays good weight with flavours of black cherry, cedar and spice. Moderate power wave with fine grained slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy black cherry. A very spicy example.
