2008 Rymill The Yearling Shiraz

A joosy fruit driven style of Coonawarra red with 40% of the wine spending eight months in three and four year-old oak. Excellent colour – opaque black purple with deep purple crimson hue. Aromas of dark cherry, violets, blackberry and confectionary. Good palate weight with flavours of inky dark cherry and blackberry with some cedar and spice on the finish. Quite Youthful. Fine grained well rounded tannins with aftertaste of inky dark cherry, spice, blackpepper and cedar. An excellent quaffer.
