2008 Ryder Shiraz

The 'Ryder' range of wines were initially developed specifically for the South Australian market by Reilly's Wines. The wines have just been made available to Victoria and offer terrific value.

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Matured in a combination of American and French oak for fifteen months. Aromas of confectionary and liquorice allsorts followed by a touch of vanilla. Very generous, rich, full bodied palate with flavours of aniseed, liquorice allsorts and vanilla, followed by some toasted oak end notes. Well integrated, soft, fine tannin structure. Aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, spice and toast.
