2008 Rutherglen Estates Burgoyne's Block Mourvedre Shiraz Grenache

Retasted 15/03/2011:
Deep dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. The nose displays lifted notes of dark raspberry and plum followed by some liquorice and a light earth end note. Medium weight and generous the palate displays joosy flavours of raspberry, plum and black cherry followed by some spice and earth on the back palate. Very fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of raspberry, black cherry and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).

Deep dark red mauve colour with dark red mauve hue. Aromas of black raspberry, spice, dark cherry and confectionary followed by some earthy end notes showing good perfumed lift. Medium bodied the palate displays generous spicy flavours of black raspberry and dark cherry with a spicy earth like character on the back palate. Fine grained, slightly chalky but balanced tannins with aftertaste of spice, black cherry and earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
