2008 Riorret Viggers Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose is very perfumed delivering excellent intensity and varietal character. Lifted aromas of dark cherries and violets followed by some gamey meat like notes and spice. Light to medium weight with good power wave the palate displays flavours of dark cherries and plum followed by some spice and meat characters with a light earthy overlay. Very fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of dark cherries, game and spice.
