2008 Quest Farm Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light brick red hue. The nose displays dark cherry and dark plum top notes followed by some gamey meat like characters and spicy cedar. Ripe and succulent the palate is quite weighty delivering rich mouthfilling flavours of black cherry, dark plum, some meaty characters, cedar and a spicy back palate. Good power wave with velvet smooth tannins. Long black cherry, dark plum, dried meats and spice aftertaste. A big ripe opulent Central Otago Pinot.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
