2008 Printhie Merlot

Deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays lifted plummy aromas followed by some tobacco leaf and spice. Light to medium weight and without a great deal of complexity the palate displays a rather simple flavour profile of plum, cherry and spice. Fine grained tannins with a short aftertaste of plum and spice.
Drink now (2010).
