2008 Principia Altior Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for approximately 21 months. Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve brick red hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, dark cherry, spice and toast with an anise end note. Medium weight the palate displays excellent concentration and length with flavours of dark cherry and spice followed by some anise and a touch of earth. Spicy toasted oak back palate. Very fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and anise.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
Alc 14.3%
