Joe Grilli’s best selling dry white. Grilli has demonstrated over the decades that it is possible to make a consistently drinkable dry white using the unfashionable Colombard grape. If you have any reservations about our observations, visit Grilli’s new cellar door and watch out for a red Maserati zooming by (it was red last time we saw it).

Brilliant pale straw colour water like hue. The Sauvignon Blanc dominates the blend with top note of gooseberry followed by light tropical fruit and a grassy, herbaceous end note. The palate delivers flavours of gooseberry, followed by light tropical fruit – the back palate reveals flavours of ripe gooseberry over a grassy layer. Crisp acid finish with some citrus emerging. Ripe gooseberry aftertaste.
Cellar 1-2 years (2010-2011)
