2008 Pooley Wines Butchers Hill Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light dark red mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry and dark plum are intermixed with a hint of mint and some spicy oak. The palate is quite generous and possesses good weight with flavours of dark ripe cherry and dark plum followed by some cedar, a touch of earth and spice. Good power wave. Fleshy mouthfeel with vevlet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of dark cherry, dark plum and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
