Mount Pierrepoint Estate was established by Andrew and Jennifer Lacey in 1998 specializing in the production of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Located in Tarrington, 10km south east of Hamilton, in the Henty wine region of Victoria, the first vines planted were Pinot Noir in 1998 and the Chardonnay vines were planted in 2001.

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with dark red mauve hue. Excellent perfumed lift with top notes of dark cherry, anise and dark plum followed by some spice and cedar end notes displaying very strong varietal character and excellent intensity. Light to medium weight the palate displays a soft supple fleshy texture with flavours of ripe dark cherry, anise and black plum followed by spicy cedar. Velvet smooth perfectly integrated tannins. Excellent power wave with long persistent aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and anise.
