2008 Pertaringa Two Gentlemen's Grenache

This very Rhone-like example of Grenache was matured for 20 months in French oak, 15% of which was new with the balance being seasoned oak.

A very well made, soft, juicy Grenache.
Semi translucent deep crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays lifted notes of ripe dark raspberry, dark plum, liquorice allsorts and confectionary. Ripe and opulent, the palate possesses excellent weight with flavours of ripe dark raspberry jube, liquorice allsorts and confectionary with some spice on the back palate. Very fine grained soft tannins with long aftertaste of ripe raspberry, confectionary and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
Alc 15.0%
