2008 Penascal Estate Tempranillo

Very deep dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherries and spice followed by some earthy cedar like end notes. Light to medium weight and quite dry the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry, spice and a touch of liquorice with a dry earthy finish. Slightly dryish tannins with moderate aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and earth.
