Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted liquorice and aniseed aromas dominate the nose with some underlying black cherries, vanillin confectionary, toasty oak and spice. Full bodied and opulent the palate features a very rich flavour profile of liquorice and black cherries over some toasty vanillin oak, emerging leather and pepper. Solid but velvety tannins with a long liquorice, black cherry, toasty vanillin oak, leather and pepper aftertaste.
