2008 Patricks Vineyard Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with crimson red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of very ripe dark plum and strawberry jam followed by some spice notes. Light to medium weight the palate delivers flavours of very ripe dark cherry and some stewed fruit prune like characters lacking depth and true varietal character. Fine grained tannins. The palate is beginning to dry out and displays a short aftertaste of stewed fruits, prunes and spice.
