2008 Parker Favourite Son Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with dark purple black hue. On the nose aromas of blackberry, liquorice, a touch of vanillin oak and spice. The palate boasts good body weight and richness with flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberry followed by some vanillin oak, a touch of mint and spice. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Long liquorice, vanillin oak and spicy white pepper aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
