Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted scents of ripe blackcurrant, a touch of liquorice and ripe mulberry followed by some subtle cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with generous ripe blackcurrant and dark ripe mulberry followed by some underlying earthy cedar like characters and a spicy back palate. Dry finish with firmish but balanced tannin structure. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, earthy cedar and spicy dark mulberry.
