2008 Parker Coonawarra Estate First Growth

Totally opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose exhibits lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate followed by some dark mulberry, cedar, light cigar box and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses rich mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant followed by a touch of dark mulberry, some cedar, earth and spice. Dryish finish with solid but very fine grained and perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate, cedar and spice.
Cellar 8-10 years.
