2008 Oakridge Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent example of fully ripened Yarra Valley Cabernet.
Matured for 15 months in French oak. Opaque deep dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant and tobacco followed by some cedar, spice and just a hint of cigar box. Medium bodied and elegant, yet displaying good richness the palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, tobacco, dusty cedar and spice. Perfectly integrated very fine grained tannin structure with long aftertaste of blackcurrant cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2011-2016)
