2008 O'Leary Walker Cabernet Sauvignon

Fantastic opaque black purple colour with black purple hue – excellent colour saturation. The aromas are at the riper end of the spectrum – cassis, cedar, dark plum and liquorice. Full bodied palate with a thick 'joosy' texture that resembles a Shiraz rather than a Cabernet. Flavours of dark plum, very ripe blackcurrant and black cherry flavours followed by some dark chocolate and liquorice end notes. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, plum and confectionary.
Drink now or cellar 2-3 years (2009-2012)
