2008 Ninth Island Pinot Noir

Bright translucent crimson red mauve colour with mauve crimson hue. Subdued at first with aromas of dark cherry, cedar and spice emerging. Light to medium weight, with flavours of spicy dark cherry, plum and cedar, with the spiciness persisting onto the back palate. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins with long aftertaste of dark cherry, plum and spice.
Cellar for 1-2 years (2011-2012).
