2008 Nautilus Chardonnay

This wine was entirely barrel fermented with a portion left to ferment naturally via indigenous (wild) yeasts. A period of lees stirring post ferment adds a textural element to the palate.

Brilliant straw colour with a slight greenish tinge and pale straw hue. Aromas of peach, cashew, nougat and spice. Mouthfilling palate flavours of ripe peach, fig, nougat, cashew and spice. Creamy texture with clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of peach, spicy oak and nougat.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013)
