2008 Mr Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with purple mauve hue. The nose is a little closed at present slowly revealing aromas of blackberry, confectionary and liquorice allsorts. The palate is loaded with rich ripe blackberry and plum flavours followed by liquorice allsorts, confectionary and spice. Excellent weight. Fine grained tannin structure with long aftertaste of ripe plum, blackberry and confectionary. Another generously styled Gaffer from Mr Riggs.
