2008 Mr Riggs Piebald Shiraz Viognier

Produced from a blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier. Opaque black red colour with black crimson hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice allsorts, confectionary and dark plum followed by a hint of dried apricot as an end note. Big rich joosy palate flavours of ripe plum and blackberry followed by liquorice and confectionary with some spicy back palate characters. Fine grained slightly dry tannins with long aftertaste of spice, blackpepper and dark plum. A big voluptuous spicy blend from Mr Riggs.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
