2008 Mountadam Vineyards Barossa Shiraz

Matured for 14 months in French oak barrels. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red purple hue. Aromas of very ripe blackberry are to the fore followed by some dark plum, liquorice and spice. Full bodied the palate delivers joosy flavours of ripe blackberry and dark chocolate followed by some liquorice with a very spicy peppery finish. Fine grained tannins. Good length with long dark chocolate, liquorice and spicy peppery aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
