2008 Mitchell GSM Grenache Sangiovese Mourvedre

A very spicy blend.
Excellent depth with dark crimson red colour and crimson red hue. The nose displays lifted ripe raspberry aromas followed by some plum, dark cherry and spice. Ripe full bodied and fleshy the palate delivers a generous flavour profile of ripe raspberry and liquorice along with a trace of earth and a very spicy back palate. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe raspberry, liquorice and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
