2008 McWilliams Balance Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

This low alcohol wine has been endorsed by Weight Watchers. Brilliant very pale straw colour with water like hue. Aromas of tropical fruits, spice and a hint of gooseberry. Light palate flavours of tropical fruits and gooseberry. Clean dry finish with relatively soft acidity. Short aftertaste of gooseberry and citrus. Whilst this wine might help the waist line it offers very little in terms of pleasure or enjoyment. Pass.
