2008 Mad Dog Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with very deep black dark crimson red hue. The nose displays an intense aromatic profile of dark chocolate, liquorice, super ripe dark plum and vanillin oak followed by some spice end notes. The palate is very rich, full bodied and jam packed with opulent fruit flavours of dark chocolate, liquorice and very ripe blackberry followed by some mocha and vanillin oak characters. Superb depth. Voluptuously textured with silky smooth tannins. Very long and persistent dark chocolate, liquorice, ripe blackberry and vanillin spice aftertaste. A well endowed Barossa Shiraz with a rich supple mouthfeel.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
