2008 Longhop Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice allsorts, confectionary and plum followed by a hint of spice – all somewhat restrained. Thick, rich and concentrated palate flavours of dark plum, blackberry, chocolate and vanilla with spice back palate flavours. Voluptuously textured palate displaying plenty of weight, however, it finishes a touch short on the aftertaste. Velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of liquorice allsorts, dark plum and mocha.
