2008 Long Gully Estate Chardonnay

This wine was barrel fermented in French oak of which 10% was new. Brilliant pale straw colour with slight greenish tinge and watery hue. The nose displays aromas of delicate white peach, toast and spice. Medium weight and elegantly textured the palate exhibits flavours of delicate white peach, citrus and spice along with a light toasty biscuit overlay. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of white peach, biscuit, light toast and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
