2008 Lethbridge Mietta Pinot Noir

Only 50 cases of this wine were produced with the fruit cropped at very low yields of 0.75 tonnes per acre. Deep dark crimson red colour with dark red mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherries, violets, dark plum and spicy cedar showing good intensity. Medium weight possessing excellent richness the palate displays mouthfilling flavours of dark cherries, spice, dark strawberry and cedar with a meaty game like overlay. Very fine grained tannins. Excellent mouthfeel and power wave with very long aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and gamey meat like characters.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
