2008 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays a lifted bouquet of blackcurrant and dark mulberries with a tobacco like overlay followed by some cedar, a faint hint of bay leaf and spice. Elegantly built yet rich in flavour the palate possesses dark mulberry and blackcurrant flavours interwoven with some cedary tobacco characters with some spice on the back palate. Very fine grained beautifully integrated tannins. Long blackcurrant, dark mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice aftertaste.
