Rizza is the winemaker’s shortened nomenclature for Riesling.
The vines for this wine were planted in 1965.
Bright straw colour with pale gold and pale straw hue. Lifted nose with citrus, spice and orange blossom top note – delivering a classic perfumed Riesling sniff. On the palate there is a touch of residual sweetness, with flavours of ripe sultana, lemon butter and ripe tropical fruit evident. Clean acid finish.
A refreshing, light, fruity Riesling.
A new age Ben Ean Moselle! – no it’s better than that!
