2008 Juniper Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 15 months in French oak this wine displays an opaque very deep dark crimson red black colour with deep crimson red hue. The nose exhibits ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, mulberry, spicy cedar and a touch of bayleaf as aromas. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers plenty of up front ripe blackcurrant flavours followed by some ripe mulberry, spice and cedar. Very fine grained tannin structure. Good length with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, spice and earthy cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
