2008 Josmeyer Le Kottabe Riesling

Bright pale straw colour with slight greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose is quite exotic with lifted floral and red apple notes followed by some ripe pear, cinnamon spice and dried honey. Mouthfilling palate flavours of lemon, ripe limes, pear and spice with a slight hint of dried honey making an appearance on the back palate. Good length and acid structure with a clean crisp dry finish. Long aftertaste of spice, lemon, pear and a hint of dried honey.
Drink now or cellar 5-6 years (2010-2016).
