2008 Jones Road Pinot Noir

The fruit for this wine was sourced from select parcels of Jones Road 'Morning Star' and 'Grange' vineyards. Dry conditions persisted again throughout the 2008 growing season with a mild summer, allowing good, even flavour development. The wine was matured in a combination of 1-3 year old French oak barriques.

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Aromas of dark cherry, troncais oak and spice. Medium bodied with ripe flavours of dark cherry, plum, anise and cedar with a very spicy finish. Excellent concentration and power wave. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of spice, dark cherry and anise.
